QU class Lines and Shapes with Lily
Kerns.
Step 1, filled boxes with lines.
Chose one I liked.
Used tracing paper and changed it
three times.
Then put it to fabric that I normally
wouldn't use, what a surprise.
I will be doing journal
quilts this year. One
small quilt a month,
10x12"
Journaling my year
using new
techniques, fabarics
etc.
In other words
learning and trying to
make a dent in the
stash.
This is January's quilt.
Our Chesepeake
Jessie passed away a
few weeks ago. This
is my ode' to Jessie,
she loved the pond!
New techniques and
outside the box for
the border :)
February's journal
quilt.
Will spring ever
arrive, a cold winter
moon and tree
covered with snow,
while mother spring
fights with winter
blues :) What an
imagination, this
lines and shapes
class has
unleashed a
monster.
