"Winding Road"
Queen Size
Machine Quilted by Rose Fuhr
This is the second pieced type quilt that I've made.
19 fabrics!
This picture was taken at the Peace Country Bluegrass Festival
Quilts were hung throughout the Pioneer Village on the
Heritage buildings...my what a glorious site.
Each evening the quilts were taken down and hung in a
different location the next morning.
A real stroll back through time.
Milburn Mountain Boys
with a Quilt background...all made by Brenda.
Canadian Whitewater
Quilts by Brenda and me
Brenda (centre) with two of her nieces.
The quilt to the right is called "The Village" Brenda donated this Queen Size quilt  to
the Bluegrass Festival and it was raffled.  One of the organizer's sisters won it! So it
stayed in the Peace :)
Banjo Walt from Winnipeg Manitoba.
Walt makes all his instruments...can you imagine my surprise when i saw his
'canteen' gourd banjo! He is a true master of the banjo. His set included a history
of the banjo and he played six or seven banjo's that he has made!

Thank you for viewing my other hobby :) All photos were taken at the Peace
Country Bluegrass Festival, in Dawson Creek July 23-25, 2004.

"Pieces of the Peace"
Blocks collected during Shop Hop

2006, this was my design.
The top blocks are 'monkey wrench'
for all the mechanical minded folks in
our Peace area, I also added the
logging block top right corner.
I saw a picture of a quilt done like
this...did a lot of grafting to get what I
wanted.
A Japanese style
wallhanging for my friend
Maggie.
She loved the piece of
fabric.
I am now immersed in Art Quilting...I am taking some classes at QU
