Come on and join me for the most fun time with gourds. Do you design?
Don’t have to!! Do you draw? Don’t have to!! All that is necessary is
loving color, wanting to experiment, and looking for a WOW factor in
your gourd art.
·Learn to do the Splat! And learn to do the Smoosh! It’s a time for gourd
art on your feet or sitting down for the more subdued types. It’It is also a
time to Throw The Salt!
Have you been a former student of mine at various Festival settings?
And then gotten home and either haven’t finished your piece? Or bought
the kit of hard to find supplies and haven’t done anything with it? I
certainly can speak from experience on that. This class will take you from
picking out your gourd to the final stage of numbering and inventory.
Photos have been taken every breath of the way. My son took the
pictures and promised to focus on the gourd and procedure, not me,
and that’s a good thing. The class is set in three sections so there will be
plenty of time for drying and taking a breather.
I’ll be offering a kit for $20.00 (includes postage) which includes 3 colors
of dye, the Absorbent Ground Gesso, Silk Salt, and Silk Dye Fixative.

This class is designed for all skill levels. There are three lessons.
